Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and SleptOn. By creating an account or using SleptOn, in the app or on slepton.app, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use SleptOn.

Who can use SleptOn

You need to be at least 13 to use SleptOn. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. You can’t use SleptOn if we’ve closed your account before or the law doesn’t allow you to.

Your account

Give accurate details when you sign up, and keep your sign-in, passwords and passkeys to yourself. An account is for one person, and you’re responsible for what happens on it. Tell us at help@slepton.app if you think someone else has got into it. We may change a username that impersonates someone or uses another person’s name or trademark.

What you post

You own what you post on SleptOn: captions, comments, messages, photos and the rest. To run SleptOn, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, show, copy and share it in SleptOn and in the ways you choose, like feeds, charts, share cards, link previews and messages. Only post things you have the right to share. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from backups we keep for a short time and anything we have to keep by law.

Community rules

• Be decent. No harassment, bullying, threats or hate speech, and no nudity or sexual content.
• Be yourself. Don’t pretend to be someone else or mislead people about who you are.
• Play fair. Don’t spam, run scams, or game likes, saves, votes, ranks or charts, including with extra accounts or automated tools.
• Respect others’ rights. Don’t post things that break the law or infringe someone’s copyright, trademark or privacy, and don’t share other people’s personal information.
• Leave the service alone. Don’t scrape SleptOn, access it with bots, reverse engineer it, get around its limits or security, or interfere with how it runs.

Charts, ranks and badges

Charts, points, ranks, streaks, badges and recaps are worked out by SleptOn and are just for fun. They have no cash value and can’t be sold or transferred. We may correct, reset or remove any that came from a bug or from breaking these rules, and we may change how they work.

Reports and moderation

Report an account, post, comment or message from its menu in the app. We review reports and may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We can’t review everything, so we don’t promise to catch every problem. If you think something on SleptOn infringes your copyright, email help@slepton.app with a link to it and details of your work.

Music and other services

Song details, artwork and 30-second previews come from Apple Music, and their rights holders own them. Playing whole songs needs your own Apple Music subscription. Name that song uses Apple’s ShazamKit, and Spotify links open Spotify. Those services have their own terms, and we aren’t responsible for them.

Moods and taste match

Mood tags and taste match scores are made automatically, partly with AI, and can be wrong. Treat them as a bit of fun, not a judgement about you or anyone else.

The beta

SleptOn is in beta through Apple’s TestFlight. While it is, features may change, break or disappear without notice, and we may reset beta features as we go.

Price

SleptOn is free. If we ever add something paid, we’ll tell you clearly before you pay for it.

Our rights

The SleptOn name, logo, app, website and designs, including the badges, belong to us. Don’t use them without our permission. If you send us ideas or feedback, including on the Ideas board, we can use them freely without owing you anything.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other people at risk, or that we have to close by law. Parts of these terms that by their nature should continue, like ownership, disclaimers and limits on liability, still apply afterwards.

Disclaimers

We work hard on SleptOn, but it’s provided as it is and as available. We don’t promise it will always work, be free of bugs, or keep every feature. People are responsible for what they post, and we don’t endorse it.

Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, SleptOn isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, that come from using SleptOn. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law where you live that can’t be limited.

Apple

If you got SleptOn from Apple, these terms are between you and SleptOn, not Apple. Apple isn’t responsible for SleptOn or its content, and has no duty to maintain or support it. Apple isn’t responsible for any claims about SleptOn, including product liability, legal or regulatory claims, or claims that SleptOn infringes someone’s rights. Apple and its subsidiaries can enforce these terms against you as third-party beneficiaries. You also agree to Apple’s own terms for using the App Store and TestFlight.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as SleptOn changes. If a change is significant, we’ll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using SleptOn after that, you agree to the new terms.
